Penrith Players Sessions
Five short plays by Penrith Players, recorded as audio dramas during lockdown and released on YouTube.
With theatres closed in 2020, Penrith Players turned to audio. Over two days in August we recorded five short plays in the Playhouse bar: The Drop, Institute Destitute Substitute, Number 47 Bus, Strangers in Paradise and The Village Weirdo.
We edited each one, built the soundscape with added effects, and released them as a series on YouTube. BBC Newcastle played a clip on air.
