Penrith Show
Stage sound and lighting for the entertainment marquee since 2019, and since 2023 the WiFi that keeps the show ground's tickets, bar and traders connected.
Penrith Show brings the farming community and the town together every July. We've been part of it since 2019, and we've been back every year the show has run since.
The entertainment marquee
We started with the sound for the bar and music marquee: local favourites through the day and headline bands in the evening, from Hardwicke Circus and the Penrith Town Band to Sneaky Finch and Matty Buck. The crowd in that first year was bigger than anyone expected, so we came back with a bigger PA and proper concert lighting, and we've run the stage ever since. We also log noise levels through the day, so the Society can show the event stays well within its limits.
WiFi across the show ground
In 2023 the Society asked us to take over the show's internet. We put up a satellite link and spread WiFi across the ground, covering the secretary's office, both ticket booths, the bar and the food hall, so tickets and card payments keep working however busy it gets. When traders around the main ring told us their signal was patchy, we added more access points for 2026 to cover them too.
